In a concerted effort to enhance the quality of education, teachers from the Division of Sarangani have collaboratively refined and uploaded some 5,820 learning activity sheets to an online repository, which aims to improve the teaching and learning experience for students across the division.
Over a span of four days, teachers from various schools within the division gathered at the Greenleaf Hotel to work on the enhancement of learning activity sheets.
The focus areas included English, Mathematics, Science, ESP (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao), EPP-TLE (Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan – Technology and Livelihood Education), MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health), Araling Panlipunan, and Filipino.
The breakdown of the enhanced learning activity sheets uploaded to the online repository is as follows: English: 912 Sheets, Mathematics: 813 Sheets, Science: 712 Sheets, ESP: 477 Sheets, EPP-TLE: 316 Sheets, MAPEH: 556 Sheets, Araling Panlipunan: 1,018 Sheets, and Filipino: 816 Sheets.
Schools Division Superintendent Ruth L. Estacio, PhD., CESO VI, extended her gratitude to the teachers for their efforts. She emphasized the significance of their work in improving the teaching materials available to educators in the Division of Sarangani.
“Thank you for taking care of our learners,” Estacio said.
“We know that the battle against illiteracy and non-numeracy is always won in the classroom, in the hands of excellent and committed teachers like you,” she added.
The uploaded learning activity sheets are expected to contribute to a more effective and engaging learning experience for students. The online repository provides accessibility to these resources, enabling teachers to tailor their lessons according to their students’ needs.
The materials developed through this collaborative effort will be integrated into the curriculum across the division. This step is aimed at further enhancing the quality of education provided to students in Sarangani.
